Who We Are
Founded in New York City, RegBase brings together a team of regulatory research experts and AI technological expertise. Our founding members include a regulatory development and ESG reporting expert, former sustainability consultant, and AI technologist with over a decade of software engineering experience.
Born out of a major challenge facing corporates and law firms, RegBase provides tailored multilingual research that tracks new and proposed regulations, policies, and funding programs across jurisdictions. Each update is verified for accuracy and organized to help clients stay informed, prepared, and aligned with changing legal landscapes.
At the center of our work is a belief in collaboration and responsible innovation. By combining technical expertise with a focus on transparency and accountability, RegBase helps organizations act with confidence in a rapidly shifting global environment.

Natalie Aresta-Katz
Chief Executive and Head of Research
Natalie is originally from Washington, D.C. Prior to founding RegBase, she oversaw regulatory research for the ESG practice of the law firm Paul, Weiss. She holds a B.S. in business from NYU and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Outside of work, she is a jewelry instructor and enjoys making new things.

Ethan Shea
Chief Technology Officer
Originally from Washington State, Ethan holds a Bachelors of Computer Science from Washington University. In addition to his experience as an engineer at Microsoft and tech lead at Citadel, he most recently leg agentic AI projects as a staff engineer at Vercel. He enjoys biking, hiking, and experimenting with new tech.

Isiah Godoy
Chief Operations Officer
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Isiah oversees operations and research integrity at RegBase. He brings experience as a paralegal and regulatory researcher at Paul, Weiss and as an ESG consultant at Sodali & Co. Beyond work, he enjoys volunteering at his local food bank and is an avid baseball fan.
