Restrictions & requirementsHide restrictions & requirements1
A temporary moratorium bars new data center projects in unincorporated Peach County: County departments and staff may not accept, review, approve, or grant related zoning, rezoning, development, construction, permit, or land-use applications. The September 2026 draft sets the moratorium for three months, or until revoked earlier. It does not apply to projects already pending or to land uses with permits issued before the moratorium takes effect. The February 2026 meeting minutes record approval of an earlier four-month moratorium.
